When it comes to printmaking, I specialise in woodcut, which is a relief printing process. Sometimes they are single colour prints but if I’m using more than one colour then I prefer the reduction woodcut process - where all colours are printed from the same block, allowing the print to dry between colours and cutting away more wood from the block before printing the next colour(s) on top. Registration is the key to this process as the block must line up exactly in the same place on the paper for each successive colour.
I usually produce small limited editions of my prints, which are available for purchase on enquiry. I aim to keep my prices affordable, ranging from £25-£300, depending on size and process.
